We will be following our by laws more closely.

We have decided to revamp the structure of the club:  We are going back to a teen and pre-teen club - Rockin' Teens and Tweens.  Pre-teens will recieve a bar for their badge that says "TWEEN" until they become a teen at which time the bar will come back to the club.

Any adults that want to be members of the club will be known as associate members, that way they will get their insurance but will have no voting rights or be able to hold any office.

To be an advisor you must be a parent, grandparent or gaurdian of a teen or tween in good standing in the club. 

The students will recieve a badge that will say rockin teen student with a bar for their name which will be returned to the club at the end of lessons so that the next set of lessons students will be able to have the badge also.

We also discussed the dress code and have decided that for the summer we will not require full square dance attire, you still must wear dance shoes not tennis shoes or flip flops or whatever, we do have the themes so that you can wear clothes that go with the themes. June is Hawaiian, July is Crazy hats, and Aug is Safari.  We will be making polo shirts for demos and everyone will be in black slacks and the polo unless otherwise told.  Any travel or Council demo you will be in full square dance attire. It would be very nice for everyone to have the travel outfit see Shelley for that.

We will be posting the standing rules at the dances as it has come to the attention that some of the rules are not being followed. There will be consequences for those who do not follow the rules.

We will be doing other fundraisers throughout the year, so that maybe (if you participate) your comp outfit will be paid for through your fundraising.
